So much effort for meager reward. If only one finds joy in my creative efforts, perhaps that is worth it, if not, at least the satisfaction of completing a challenging work should suffice.
World building, story telling and game development has always been a passion of mine and I am grateful for the opportunity to bring my imagination to life. Making this video game has been a considerable challenge as a solo developer. Programming, drawing, animating, designing, composing the music, promotions, social media… the list goes on! It has been exhausting work, with many times I have felt the despair of never finishing the gargantuan task I have sadistically presented myself. Is it even good? I should add one more feature! Let’s animate cutscenes! Can I even finish this? I digress….
Anyway, If you’ve been following the development and find this message… I appreciate you and the support. The small likes and comments I get here and there make a difference, sometimes pulling me out of the pit of burnout.
